How I can help
I’m a Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician, specialising in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal injuries without surgery.
I see a wide range of problems, including tendon pain, joint & muscle injuries, bone stress and other overuse injuries — in people of all ages and activity levels.
I take a careful, considered approach to diagnosis and treatment with a focus on understanding the problem properly, explaining it clearly, and guiding the most appropriate next steps.
In most consultations, the focus is on:
Understanding the problem properly
Taking the time to understand your history, examine you properly, and interpret imaging in context.
Helping you make sense of it
Clear explanation of your condition — what’s going on, what matters, and what doesn’t.
Guiding the right treatment
A practical plan that may include rehabilitation, load management, or procedures where appropriate.
Targeted procedures when needed
Including ultrasound-guided injections performed carefully and only when they are likely to add value.

Why see a Sport & Exercise Medicine Physician?
Sport & Exercise Medicine Physicians are specialist medical doctors trained in the comprehensive, non-surgical management of musculoskeletal injuries and exercise-related medical concerns.
A consultation with a specialist physician is focused on:
Diagnostic Accuracy: Utilising clinical assessment and interpretation of any investigations to achieve an accurate understanding of the problem.
Specialist Management: Providing evidence-based options, including medications and procedural interventions where appropriate, such as ultrasound-guided injections or shockwave therapy.
Integrated Recovery: Coordinating a structured return to activity that balances clinical safety with the patient's performance or lifestyle goals.
